Overview

Landmark at Oceanview, a Senior Living Community, seeks an experienced Marketing and Sales Manager for our community located in Beverly, MA. The Marketing and Sales Manager's role is to develop lasting relationships with referral sources, host community events, conduct tours with potential residents and their families, and close sales.  This position is responsible for all aspects of sales and marketing, and the candidate must be able to evaluate, develop and implement marketing strategies.  Lead data base management and the ability to build new referral relationships while nurturing existing relationships is essential.  If you are driven, can work independently yet collaboratively, and have a proven track record of strong lead generation and the ability to close sales, we’d like to hear from you. 

 

Compensation depends on experience, and features a commission structure. In addition, Landmark offers a full benefit package, including health, dental and vision insurance. Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute the marketing plan to meet or exceed census targets.
  • Maintain the community’s database with prospective residents, referral sources, advertising campaigns, and events.  Record consistent and appropriate follow-up communications with inquiries and prospective residents.
  • Establish and maintain professional relationships within the medical community.
  • Sustain qualified lead activity through events, advertising, networking and community outreach.
  • Schedule and conduct inquiry meetings with residents, families, and representatives to determine if prospects meet the general financial and medical criteria for residency. 
  • Coordinate the move-in/admission process and corresponding paperwork.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 2 years experience in a sales role, with a proven track record of closing deals. 5+ years experience preferred, and experience in a commission based role preferred.
  • Prior experience in Senior Care (Assisted Living, Independent Living, Home Health Care or Skilled Nursing) is strongly preferred but not required.
  • Minimum 2 years experience in a marketing role required, with proven ability to network, develop referral sources, and generate leads.
  • High school diploma is required; Bachelor's in Marketing or similar field or similar experience is preferred.
  • Candidate must have positive, team-first attitude with high energy and confidence.
  • Candidate must be self-motivated with ability to work his or her way out of "sales slumps" and meet or exceed quotas with consistency.
  • Candidate must demonstrate ability to develop rapport with prospects and referrals sources quickly and naturally.
