    Resident Care Manager

     

    Landmark at Monastery Heights, Assisted Living Community in West Springfield is seeking an organized and compassionate Resident Care Manager to oversee all aspects of resident care in its 87 unit assisted living community and 18 unit memory care program.     Resident Care Manager Job Purpose:

    Responsibilities

    Resident Care Manager Job Duties:

     

    • Works closely with residents and families to ensure appropriate care levels
    • Coordinates with other members of the care team
    • Oversees medication administration program
    • Supervises resident care staff
    • Provides direct nursing care as needed
    • Schedules resident care staff
    • Assesses potential residents for admission
    • Develops individualized services plans for residents
    • Ensures compliance with all state regulations
    • Manages annual state survey process, responds to findings as necessary
    • Performs other duties as assigned by Community Executive Director                      

    Qualifications

    Resident Care Director Qualifications:

     

    • Must have active LPN or RN license in the state of Massachusetts
    • Must have minimum 3 years experience as a nurse
    • Must have minimum 2 years experience in a managerial role in nursing
    • Must demonstrate ability to manage to budget on both labor and non-labor expenses
    • Must have adequate computer literacy
    • Prior experience in Long Term Care facilities, especially Assisted Living or Skilled Nursing, is strongly preferred
    • Experience with dementia care is preferred
    • The right candidate will have strong communication skills and a demonstrated ability to lead teams
    • The right candidate must have a passion for working with seniors
    • The position requires on-call coverage and some weekend coverage
