    Executive Director


    Landmark Senior Living Communities, an owner/operator of Assisted Living properties, is seeking an Executive Director to oversee all aspects of managing its Memory and Traditional Care building in Boston, MA. The position reports directly to the Vice President of Operations.


    Executive Director Job Purpose:


    To provide exceptional leadership in a safe, home-like atmosphere where a resident’s quality of life can be maintained through a supportive environment that fosters and encourages their independence.  The ideal candidate will have high energy and the desire to continue the success established through nearly two decades of growth.


    Executive Director Job Duties:


    Overall operations of the facility including achieving and/or maintaining a profitable operation through revenue and expense goals that have been established by the Corporate Office

    • Direct supervision of the Management Team
    • Supporting the Marketing effort and occupancy goals
    • Planning and organizing adequate staffing to meet resident needs
    • General supervision and overall coordination of the activity and projects of all disciplines 
    • Reviewing performance, completing evaluations, and performing disciplinary action as needed for the Management Team
    • Following, implementing and supporting policies and procedures and communicating these to residents, families, and staff
    • Developing and maintaining an implementation strategy for EOEA compliance
    • Performing other administrative and supervisory duties to ensure efficient and profitable operation


    Executive Director Qualifications:

    • Bachelor’s Degree required, Master’s Degree preferred
    • 5+ years experience in Long Term Care required
    • 3+ years in an executive role required
    • Proven bottom line performance
    • Must have an energetic commitment to working with seniors
    • Demonstrated ability to form, lead and motivate teams
    • Positive, enthusiastic attitude
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
